Hey Adam, thanks for joining us here at TD Helps. We are sorry to hear about your difficulties and would be happy to help.
If you're having trouble logging in, we suggest first to ensure that your Caps Lock is off. Though your user name is not case sensitive, your password is! If that doesn't work, we recommend resetting your password by selecting "Trouble Logging In" beneath the password field. Online Banking will then ask you to select your account type from the drop down menu, type in your user name and the last four numbers of your Social Security number. When you select "Continue," the website will prompt you to answer two of the security questions that you created when you first enrolled for Online Banking. Once completed, the website will ask you to change your password. When creating your new password, here a few tips we can share with you:
- Use a combination of numbers, letters and special characters, but no spaces
- Your password should be unique. Memorize it and do not disclose it to anyone else
- Avoid using names, dates or numbers tied to your identity (such as birthday, family name, pets, street, etc.)
- Use a password that differs from your other banking, email and social media accounts. Change it periodically, ideally every 90 days
If you are experiencing issues accessing our website or any features with the website while using Internet Explorer, we recommend disabling any plugins or themes and restore your browser defaults. We also suggest making sure that you are using the most up to date version of your browser and that it is accepting cookies, please note: www.tdbank.com is compatible with the newest versions of both Internet Explorer and Firefox. Additionally, you may also wish to use a different browser.
If this does not work, don't worry! Our Digital Banking Specialists are available 24/7 to assist you with logging back in. You can call us at 800-493-7562 for assistance. You can also visit any TD Store during lobby hours for help too. For lobby hours and locations near you please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
If this is for a BusinessDirect logon, feel free to contact us 24 hours a day at the number provided above. Our Online Specialists will be happy to help you change your Password and get you back online.
For additional support on other online banking platforms, such as, TD Credit Card, Mortgage Documents, etc. please contact us at 888-751-9000, available 24/7.
We hope this helps, Adam. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
