Thank you for joining us on TD Helps, Patricia. We'd be happy to help.
If you are an authorized signer on your daughter's account and are enrolled in Online Banking, you may make a deposit into your joint account via Mobile Deposit. To use Mobile Deposit, you will first need to download the Mobile Banking App found here: http://bit.ly/1hOPk1H. Once there, enter in your phone number and the link to download the App will be sent to your phone. Keep in mind that your username and password for Mobile Banking are the same as that for Online Banking. If you have any trouble, we ask that you contact us directly for assistance. You may call us 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000 or visit a TD Store during lobby hours for help. For Store locations and hours please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Please note that with a joint account, your daughter would need to sign the back of the check if it is written out to her.
We also invite you to take a look at our FAQ in regards to Mobile Banking found here: http://bit.ly/1t2rx4L.
If you are not currently enrolled in Online Banking, you may do so at any time by visiting here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You will need your account number, ATM/Visa Debit Card number, Social Security Number and email address to complete the enrollment. If you have any trouble, please contact the 24/7 number mentioned above.
If you do not have a joint account with your daughter, you are still welcome to deposit the funds into your account via Mobile Deposit. After they clear, you can transfer your daughter funds by using our Person-to-Person payment feature. By selecting the Person-to-Person payments tab, Online Banking will first walk you through the enrollment process. You will be sent an email and text confirmation including codes that you will be required to enter online for verification. Once the enrollment is complete, you can send your daughter money by following the steps listed on the "Send Money" tab. If you have any trouble, feel free to contact out Tech Support Specialists 24/7 by dialing 800-493-7562 or by visiting a TD Store.
We hope this helps, Patricia and have a good day.
