I am interested in opening a checking account. Will I be issued a card on the spot with my name?

Thanks for considering TD Bank, Miguel. We'll be happy to provide you with some information.
There are two ways to obtain an ATM/debit card; via mail or at any TD Bank location. During the account opening process, there is an option to have an ATM/debit card mailed to your home address. This option appears when you open an account over the telephone via our 24/7 Customer Service line at 888-751-9000 or through our web site. If you request the card to be mailed to you, you should receive it in 7-10 business days, depending on the post office. The debit card will have your first and last name on it.
However, if you choose to open an account at one of our Store locations, you can receive an ATM/debit card right on the spot! Please visit: http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR to find a TD Bank near you. Please note, if you open the account online or by phone and wish to receive your card sooner, you may still visit any TD location for a new card to be printed immediately for you.
