I have recently opened a PayPal and I was going to link it to my savings account, but I started to worry if it could become overdrawn by purchasing something that was more than what is in my account.

Thanks for coming by TD Helps, Randy.
If a transaction is attempted on your Savings account that is more than the balance available in that account, please be aware that overdraft fees may be assessed. Please look here for our current fee schedule http://bit.ly/1cTejgt for fee information.
Also, please know that as a Savings account has different restrictions than a Checking account, any transfers or payments made through a Savings account causing the balance to become negative would be rejected as unpaid transactions.
We recommend reviewing this further with Paypal if you wish, but if you have any other questions for us, please feel free to connect with us 24/7 at 888-751-9000.
Hope this helps. Have a good one.
