For requirements regarding Estate accounts, we encourage you to speak with a Representative at your local TD Bank Store, as these types of accounts must be opened there. For a listing of TD Bank Stores please take a look here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
To open an Estate account, if you have been named as the Executor or Administrator, when you visit a Store you will need to provide your valid photo identification (such as Driver's License or Passport) and copy of the Death Certificate. Additional documentation will also be required; however, it does vary depending on the State that the deceased lived in. We'd recommend contacting your Store prior to visiting to determine what may be needed.
