Thank you for joining us on TD Helps, Melissa. We'd be happy to go over ways to transfer funds to your daughter!
One way you are able to make transfers to your daughter is by using Online Banking. If you have not currently enrolled in Online Banking you may do so here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. Keep in mind to complete the enrollment process you'll need your account number, ATM/Visa Debit Card number, Social Security number and email address. If you have any trouble with the enrollment process, we ask that you contact us directly for assistance. You may do so 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000. Our Representatives would be happy to assist.
Once you complete the enrollment process, you will be automatically directed to the Accounts page. This page will display all the accounts you have with the bank. If you and your daughter have a joint account, not only will it be listed on this page but you will have access to both accounts. If this is the case, you may make a transfer from your account to your daughter's by using the Transfers tab.
If you have separate accounts, you may use our Person-to-Person transfer feature. This feature allows you to send money domestically to any account inside or outside of TD Bank without having to visit a Store. From the main page of Online Banking, please click on the tab at the top of the page titled Person-to-Person Payments. You will then be asked to accept a user agreement, review the fee schedule and confirm your email and phone number. A text and email code will be sent to the mobile number and email address we have on file for you. Next, we will request you to submit both codes for verification to complete the enrollment process. Once the enrollment is complete you’ll be ready to send the payment! You will have three-day and next-day payment options available. Please note, to qualify for the next-day delivery option, you must wait 90 days from your first successful three-day transfer and must not have had any transactions that overdrew your account in the past 90 days.
For the Terms and Conditions in addition to information on the payment methods and amounts, please check http://bit.ly/1pADlWD. Please also take a look here, http://bit.ly/1cTejgt for fees that may apply with this transfer. Again if you have any trouble with scheduling this type of payment, please contact us at 800-493-7562, 24/7 and a Specialist will be glad to help.
If you'd like to speak with a Representative in person or you'd like to make your transfer at a TD Store, you may check their hours and locations nearby by visiting http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope this helps, Melissa and have a good day.
