I am looking for a high yield savings account and a regular checking account with a debit card I can use in US and Canada and also need to know the fees if using at a non TD teller.

Hi Jennifer, thanks for connecting with us today! We're glad you're interested in opening an account with us and we're here to answer all of your questions!
At TD Bank, we offer several Savings Accounts to help maximize your savings. For a list of the different types of Savings Accounts we offer, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1l6nLQ7. You can compare them all to determine which one is the best for you. You may also find it helpful to check out our customized Savings Selector tool, found here: http://bit.ly/1sxY9Rd.
As far as our Checking Accounts, we encourage you to review our Checking products here http://bit.ly/1oXjGgF, or use our Checking Account Selector tool to determine the best one that matches your needs. You can find our Checking Account Selector tool here: http://bit.ly/1gAWlhY.
You also mentioned that you are concerned about fees Jennifer. Believe us when we tell you we understand! You can find the Fee Schedule for all of our accounts here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt. Please note that Non-TD ATM fees are waived on the following types of Accounts regardless of your balance: TD Relationship Savings, TD Premier Checking, and TD Relationship Checking. Please be sure to take a look at these accounts through the links above!
As far as opening the accounts, you have several options to do so depending on your Citizenship. If you are a U.S. Citizen and have a U.S. Driver's License and Social Security Number, then you can reach out to a Banking Specialist by phone at 888-751-9000 if unable to make it into a TD Store location. Our Specialists are available 24/7 to assist you with setting up your account(s). Please have your Driver's License and Social Security Number available when you call.
If you happen to be a Canadian Citizen but currently live in the U.S., then you can reach out to a Cross-Border Banking Specialist at 877-700-2913 anytime day or night. Our Cross-Border Banking Specialists are available 24/7 to meet your banking needs and help you set up a Cross-Border account. We can also link your new U.S. account to an existing TD Canada Trust account if you have one already. Or, if you'd prefer, you can follow this link to open a Cross-Border account online: http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM. In just about 12 minutes you can setup an account and it's ready to use the next business day!
Regardless of where your Citizenship is, you could always make it into a TD Bank Store to open the account you're interested in. We have Stores all along the East Coast spanning from Maine to Florida and you can locate the nearest one here: http://bit.ly/TDStores. Just bring 2 forms of valid ID with you when you come in. If you have any questions about which IDs are acceptable, please call ahead to confirm just in case.
Hope this answers everything Jennifer, but please reach out to us for anything else! We look forward to doing business with you!
