Hey Diana, thanks for stopping by TD Helps and for wanting to open a Small business Account with TD Bank! We'll be sure to answer any questions you may have about our small business accounts.
Before we begin, we'd like to share with you some information on the different types of Small Business Accounts TD Bank offers. We invite you to check out http://bit.ly/1lWgAhe for information. Also, we have a convenient Business Checking Selector Tool which will help recommend the account best for you, please check it out here: http://bit.ly/1lGeYmw.
Once you've decided on the right account for you, you must visit us at any local TD Store, during lobby hours. For TD Bank store hours and locations near you, please check out: http://bit.ly/TDStores. If you'd like, before your visit, you could set up an appointment with our Specialist. You could complete this form: http://bit.ly/SWDqsn to receive a phone call from a Business Specialist or you could contact one of our Banking Specialists at 888-751-9000, 24/7, and our Specialists would be happy to schedule an appointment for you at the desired TD Store.
There are a few things you'd need to bring with you during your visit. If your business account is going to have multiple signers, be sure to bring them with you for the account opening process. Those who are going to be signers on the account need to bring the following documents: a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.) and Social Security number. For a non-resident alien opening a business account, you will need two valid forms of ID and a W-8Ben must be completed during the account opening process. Also, be sure to bring the Tax Identification Number for your business.
If you are looking to open an LLC, there are some additional documents you will need to bring with you. One of the listed documents is required for account opening but you can bring more than one if you desire: The documents used to form and register your business, the fictitious name registration or the Operating Agreement. Additionally, you will also need to bring documentation of your LLC Resolution.
If you have any additional questions regarding our Small Business Accounts, feel free to contact us at 1-855-278-8988 to speak with a Business Specialist.
We hope the information provided helps and let us know if you have any further questions. Have a great one.
