Our Specialists via secure message and telephone are able to close an account that has a $0.00 balance and no pending transactions. If your account meets this criteria, feel free to call a Banking Specialist 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or send a secure message. To send a secure message using Online Banking, please sign in here: https://go.td.com/2H8iXLO and select 'Send a secure message' located by selecting Account Options followed by Account Services. For Mobile Banking, select the option to 'Contact Us' followed by 'Send a secure message' after signing in.
Accounts closed over the phone or via secure message may take up to 2-3 business days to finalize. If during this span of time a transaction were to be attempted, the account may not come to a close.
If your account does not reflect a $0.00 balance, you're more than welcome to debit the funds from your account using your ATM/debit card, making a transfer or writing a check.
You can also close your account via mail. You're able to mail a written, signed, and notarized request to:

Be sure to provide all account numbers so we may issue you a check for the remaining funds in your account(s) as well as your final statement.
