Anytime that a merchant with whom you're arranging payment intends to process the payment as an electronic check or ACH, you'll want to provide them with the account and routing number exactly as it appears at the bottom of your checks. These payments are very similar to check payments, the only difference being that instead of sending us a physical check or scan of the physical check, they're submitting it electronically.
If you need to locate your account and routing number on your checks, or you're simply unsure of what your routing number may be, we offer a sample check here: https://go.td.com/2bjcv63. On this page, you'll also see a list of our current routing numbers. Routing numbers are based upon the location where the account was originally opened. Just find the state or region where you opened your account and next to it should be your routing number. We'd be happy to confirm this for you. Just give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or stop in to see us at any of our Stores. To find one near you, please click here: https://go.td.com/1nq31dc. You may also send us your request by secure message through your online or mobile banking. To send a secure message, log into your TD Bank online profile by clicking here: https://go.td.com/1eaISlq. Once you've successfully logged in, look for the 'Message Center' on the left hand side and select 'Send a secure message'. From your Mobile Banking, log in and select 'Send a Secure Message' from the side Menu. We can generally respond within 24 hours or less.
