I know TD has Ameritrade banks in some states but I do not know if they have a branch in Houston (where I intend to move). I am aware of the restrictions on how much money I can carry with me into the country and would like to keep TD as my primary bank if at all possible.
What would happen to my savings and checking accounts? Will my TFSA and RRSP still be valid? Will this require I change my visa? Is there a limit to how much money I can transfer to myself across boarders?
Any feedback is appreciated!

Thank you for stopping by TD Helps, Alex. We are more than happy to guide you in the right direction.
You've reached TD Bank US and we currently have locations along the east coast. To find out TD store locations, please visit, http://bit.ly/TDStores. Based on the information we received from you, it sounds like you are trying to reach out to TD Ameritrade. TD Bank and TD Ameritrade are under the same TD shield, we are different entities. You are more than welcome to connect with TD Ameritrade directly at 800-400-3603.
Also, our friends in Canada can assist you further with your TFSA and RRSP accounts. Check out their page here: http://bit.ly/1kD3iFr and feel free to submit your inquiry directly to them.
We hope the information provided help. Let us know if you have any further questions. Have a great one and good luck on your move!
