I understand that to purchase a property in Mexico a Mexican Bank must hold it in trust. Is TD Bank in Mexico? Can TD hold the ownership in trust?
I Look forward to your reply!

Great question Gail, we'll be sure to point you in the right direction today.
At this time, TD is not authorized to lend out of the country in Mexico due to federal regulations that prevent institutions from lending outside of their footprint. Also, we don't currently have any partner banks in that area and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Although this may be the case, please note if you are interested in a mortgage or home equity product with TD Bank for a property within our footprint (along the East Coast), you are more than welcome to apply! Please click here for Store locations https://go.td.com/1f9DSJR and stop by the nearest TD location to complete an application. You're also more than welcome to call us 24/7 at 800-937-5020 and we'll be happy to review the guidelines for these applications with you and even submit your application right over the phone! You can also find more information on our Home Equity Products and submit your application online if you'd like here: https://go.td.com/1o363Py.
If you have any additional questions, feel free to reach us at the number above anytime.
We hope you have a great day, Gail.
