Hi Paula! Thanks for reaching out to us.
In order to make your credit card payment, you'll likely need to provide your account number and routing number. There is no prefix for your account number.
It sounds like you already have your account number, but if you need your routing number; you may be able to find it online as well as at the bottom of your checks. Click here: https://go.td.com/2bjcv63 to view a sample check to see where your routing number is located as well as to view a list of all of our routing numbers, which are based upon where the account is opened.
If the online payment system for your credit card is not accepting your account number, you may want to reach out to your credit card company directly to troubleshoot this issue. If the credit card you're attempting to pay is a TD Bank Visa Credit Card, please call TD Card Services at 888-561-8861. We have representatives available 24/7 to help.
We hope you're having a great day, Paula!
