I am TD customer and have a check to deposit / cash from another bank. How long will it take for the funds to clear and be in my account?

Hello, Alyss and thanks for your visit on TD Helps today! We're glad you joined us and we're happy to review funds availability with you.
Usually, when you deposit a check with a Teller, the first $100 should be made available immediately. The rest of the funds are generally credited to your account on the following business day.
If your deposit is made at TD Bank before 8:00 PM on a business day, it would be considered a deposit on that business day. A business day is every day except Saturdays, Sundays, and federal holidays. If a deposit is made on a weekend day, we will consider that the deposit was made on the following business day. For weekend deposits, this usually means that the deposit will be considered Monday's deposit and will post to your account Tuesday.
Exceptions can also occur which can cause delays in funds availability. For example, if you are a new account holder and your account has not been open for 30 consecutive days, check deposits can be held for up to 7 business days for verification purposes. We invite you to look at our Personal Deposit Account Agreement here: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ. On pages 35-37 you can find our Funds Availability Policy along with information about when you'll have access to deposits.
Please also keep in mind that if the check is not drawn on TD Bank, it can be cashed at any TD Bank location as long as you have sufficient funds in your account(s) to cover the amount of the check.
Additionally, please note that TD Bank provides next-day funds availability as a courtesy to our Customers. This does not ensure that we've already collected the funds from the originating bank. If you'd like to make sure that the funds have been paid and the check will not be returned, we recommend waiting a full 10 business days from the date of the deposit to use the funds.
You're more than welcome to contact a knowledgeable Banking Specialist 24/7 at 888-751-9000 to review this information, or with a Representative at any TD Bank Store. Please click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores for locations and hours near you.
We hope this is the information you need, Alyss! Take care and have a great evening.
