Hello Daniella, and welcome to TD Helps!
To help avoid an interruption in your debit card service, please let us know of your travel plans so we can set a travel notification on the cards you plan to use while traveling. To set a travel notification, you should reach out to us one week in advance. You can notify us via secured email. To do this, you must be enrolled in online banking. If you have an ATM/Debit card and Social Security number, you may fill out the online application to access your personal account(s). Please visit: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY to enroll for TD Bank Online Banking. Once there, you will need to choose Personal from the drop down box and complete three simple steps. After those steps are completed, you will have immediate access to your account(s) online.
If you are enrolled for our BusinessDirect online banking, you may use this link to logon http://bit.ly/1rvBmq8 and send a secure message. If you choose this option, please include the exact travel dates, destinations and if there will be any connecting flight if applicable.
You can also give us a call at 1-888-751-9000 24/7 to speak with one of our live Customer Service Representative. Alternatively, you can also visit a TD Bank to notify us of your travel plans. For help locating a TD Store near you, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
For your protection, we will continue to monitor your card activity even when a travel notification is set, and we may decline any irregular TD debit, ATM or credit card transaction that is attempted. If you encounter any issues while traveling, please contact us 24/7 at the telephone number listed above.
When traveling, you can make an ATM withdrawal from any machine that displays the VISA or PLUS logo. We encourage you to check out our current fee schedule, http://bit.ly/1cTejgt, as it outlines any applicable fees that may come into play when you use your debit card at a Non TD ATM. If you are unable to find an ATM that is compatible, with the TD Bank Debit Card, it may be used to obtain a VISA Cash Advance.
Have a safe trip!
