Thanks for reaching out to us on TD Helps, Gibrail.
We offer Foreign Exchange Services at all of our TD Bank Stores. Anyone (even if you're not a Customer) may purchase or exchange foreign currencies. Some of our locations even have a limited supply of Euros.
We always recommend calling ahead to ensure the amount you're requesting is available. Here is a listing of our TD Stores in the Passaic County area which may have Euros available:
Pompton Lakes: 973-616-5354
You do have the option of ordering Euros at any TD Bank Store, for locations near you please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores. When placing a currency order, it is important to place your order before 3:00 PM and allow at least two business days for your Euros to arrive.
Because you're going to be traveling, we recommend placing a Travel Notification on your account before you leave. You can do so by calling our Customer Service Line 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or visiting a local TD Bank Store. If you're setup for online banking, another option would be to sending a secured message using www.tdbank.com and request that Travel Notifications be added to your account. To send a secured message you must first log on to your TD Bank online profile. On the left hand side, you should see and option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center”. If you are not set up for Online Banking, please visit here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. Keep in mind that you will need your account number, Social Security number and ATM/debit card handy to complete the enrollment process.
Cards bearing the Visa logo are accepted at locations all over the world. However, we recommend carrying more than one method of payment while traveling, just in case you encounter any acceptance issues. When making an ATM withdrawal from an international location, please make sure that the ATM machine displays either the VISA or PLUS logo. The TD Bank Debit Card may also be used to obtain a VISA Cash Advance if a compatible ATM is not available. Please note that non-TD ATM fees still may apply. Many ATMs outside the United States limit withdrawals to checking accounts only, TD Bank Online can be used to transfer money from your savings account to your checking account should more funds be needed.
We hope this helps and have a safe trip, Gibrail!
