We'd like to share with you that cards bearing the Visa logo are accepted at locations all over the world. However, please be sure to carry more than one method of payment while traveling, just in case you encounter any acceptance issues.

Before leaving for Europe, we do recommend placing a Travel Notification on your Checking and/or Savings account before you leave. To place a travel notification, you can call our Customer Service Line 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or by visiting your local TD Bank Store. For a listing of TD Bank Stores and hours check http://bit.ly/TDStores. If you are setup for Online Banking, another option would be to send a secured message using www.tdbank.com and request the Travel Notifications be added to your account. To send a secured message you must first logon to your TD Bank online profile. You can do so by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. On the left hand side, you should see and option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center.” Please include your travel destination(s) and travel dates. If you are not enrolled for Online Banking, you can do so for free here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You will need your Social Security number, TD Bank ATM/Visa Debit Card, his account number, and his e-mail address. Once you have successfully enrolled, you will have immediate access to your account(s).
Additionally, if you need to call us while you're outside the United States you may do so by dialing 856-751-9000 or collect with operator's assistance from a land line phone by asking the operator to dial 215-569-0518.
