I am traveling to Nashville TN where there are no branches or ATMs. Is there a bank I should go to that I won't be charged for using the ATMs?

Hi Matthew! Thanks for writing in.
While TD Bank is not affiliated with any banks in Nashville, we do have some suggestions to help you avoid ATM fees.
Many retail stores now offer you the option of receiving cash back when you make a purchase. TD Bank does not charge a fee for this service. The amount you take back in cash is simply added to your total purchase.
You may also be able to use your TD Bank Visa Debit Card to do a cash advance with a bank teller at a different financial institution. To do this, visit a bank in Nashville and request to do a Visa Cash Advance with the teller. Your card will be used to withdraw funds and that transaction should post to your account as a Visa purchase, rather than a withdrawal. While TD Bank does not charge a fee for doing this type of transaction, we recommend confirming with the bank that you use if they charge a fee to perform this service.
Finally, we want to make you aware that with some of our accounts, non-TD Bank ATM fees are waived as a benefit of that account type. We may even waive the fees charged by the ATM company! To review all of our checking accounts to see if you've already one of those accounts, or to see if one might fit your needs, please click here: https://go.td.com/2tX7kAh. If you choose to change your account type, we'd be happy to help. It’s a quick change that will not affect your account or debit card number. Just give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or stop in to see us at any of our Stores. To find one near you, please click here: https://go.td.com/1nq31dc. You can also send us a secure message with your request through your online or mobile banking. To send a secure message, log into your TD Bank online profile by clicking here: https://go.td.com/1eaISlq. Once you've successfully logged in, look for the 'Message Center' on the left hand side and select 'Send a secure message'. From your Mobile Banking, log in and select 'Send a Secure Message' from the side Menu. We can generally respond within 24 hours or less.
We hope this info helps, Matthew. If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to give us a call at the number above and we'd be happy to help. We sl
We hope you enjoy your trip to Nashville!
