Thanks for joining us on TD Helps, Stephanie.
We're happy to say that at TD Bank, you may order or exchange foreign currency at any of our convenient Store locations, during lobby hours. For locations and lobby hours of TD Stores near you please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We recommend calling the Store you will be visiting in 2-3 business days in advance to ensure the currency is available for you to pick up. Please note that there may be fees associated with foreign currency conversions and for more information please review our current Fee Schedule here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
Additionally, if you have a TD account with a debit card, you may use your debit card while in the Bahamas to make purchases. Your TD Bank Visa debit card is accepted anywhere Visa is accepted. You can also use your debit card to make cash withdrawals internationally at any ATM that displays either the Visa or Plus logo. Please note, ATM fees may apply; we encourage you to check out our current fee schedule, http://bit.ly/1cTejgt, as it outlines any applicable fees that may come into play when you use your debit card out of the country.
However, we do recommend carrying more than one method of payment while traveling, just in case you encounter any acceptance issues. For more travel tips, please visit http://bit.ly/1gDrDYu.
Prior to your travels, we do ask that you place a travel notification on your account so you don't run into any interruptions with your card. To do so, you may contact our 24/7 Customer Service line at 888-751-9000 to have a Customer Service Representative place a travel notification on your account(s).
You may also send a Secured Message through Online Banking. If you are not enrolled in Online Banking, please click here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You will need your account number, ATM/Visa debit card number, and email address. Once you are enrolled, please sign into your account and click on the Customer Service tab and then select Send a Message. If you choose this option, please include the exact travel dates, destinations and if there will be any connecting flight if applicable. If you need help enrolling, please contact us 24/7 at the number provided above. After account verification, one of our Specialists would be happy to help.
If you are unable to call or send an email, you can always visit your local TD Bank and have a Customer Service Representative place the travel notes for you. Please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find a TD Bank near you.
If you need to contact us while you're away, you may reach us 24/7 at (856)751-9000 or you can call collect from a landline at (215)569-0518.
We hope this helps and have a wonderful time!
