In reply to JUDY, PHILADELPHIA TRAVEING NOW IN bALI
Thanks for writing in today, Judy.
We appreciate you taking time to write to us. As we would like to assist you directly, we do not have access to your personal information since this is considered an unsecured forum.
We'd like to let you know that before any trip, we recommend placing a travel notification on your account before you leave to avoid any card acceptance issues. And even if a note is already placed on your account, our automated advanced fraud early warning systems may block your debit card until we are able to verify the account activity with you.
If you have not already done so, or to review your account for any block, if you are able to access a telephone, please contact our 24/7 Customer Service line. You can reach us from Bali or anywhere outside of the US at 856-751-9000 via mobile telephone or calling us collect with an operator's assistance from a land line phone by asking the operator to dial 215-569-0518.
If you are unable to have access to a phone and utilize TD Online Banking, you may also send us a Secured Message through your Online Banking. To send a secure message you must first logon to your TD Bank online profile. You can do so by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. On the left hand side, you should see an option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center." If you have not enrolled, please call us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 to speak with our Banking Specialists.
If you are enrolled for our BusinessDirect online banking, you may use this link to logon http://bit.ly/1rvBmq8 and send a secure message. If you choose to send us a secured message, please include the exact travel dates, destinations and if there will be any connecting flight if applicable.
By placing a travel notification, this will help us be aware if we see foreign transactions on your account. Also, please be informed that for your protection we will continue to monitor your card activity even when a notification is set. We also recommend carrying more than one method of payment while traveling, just in case you encounter any acceptance issues. For more travel tips while overseas, please visit http://bit.ly/1gDrDYu. We hope this helps answer your question and that you have a wonderful trip!
