Thank you for reaching out to us here at TD Helps, Darryl. We understand your circumstance and would be happy to help!
When using your VISA Debit card to make a payment, the routing number is not required. However, if you're choosing to pay your bills with your account information, the routing number is required along with the account number.
TD Bank routing numbers are based upon the TD location where you opened your account. For a list of our current routing numbers, please check out: http://bit.ly/1cmRPoF. If you're not certain which TD location you opened your account at, please do not hesitate to contact our 24/7 Customer Service line at 888-751-9000. Our Banking Specialists would be more than happy to confirm this information with you. Also, you can also visit any TD Bank location. Please check out: http://bit.ly/TDStores for the nearest TD Bank location to you.
You have mentioned that you don’t have your check book with you, just in case you don't have your Checking account number either, no worries, we got you covered!
For TD Bank Checking, Savings or Money Market accounts, you may locate your account number on your paper statements which is located at the right top corner of the page. If this is a new account, you will receive your paper statement within 30 days from opening the account.
If you do not have a statement or checks to refer to, you may also see Customer Service Representatives at your local TD Bank store with your valid photo ID for further assistance. Please be informed that for the security of your account information, we do not provide account numbers via e-mail or over the phone.
Additionally, if you are enrolled for online banking, your account is displayed on your welcome page after signing online. If you are currently not utilizing TD Bank Online Banking but would like to be enrolled, please review the following information. Even though the account number is needed to use the self-service feature via www.tdbank.com to enroll for Online Banking, we are happy to say, there are other ways you can enroll. You can contact us directly at 1-800-493-7562 to speak with one of our Digital Specialists. After account verification, our Specialists would be happy to help!
We hope this information was helpful! Enjoy your day, Darryl!
