Thanks for coming to TD Helps, Maureen. We appreciate you considering TD Bank for your banking needs and would be happy to help.
To open a joint checking account, we ask that you and the other party visit us at your local TD Bank Store location during lobby hours for assistance. For locations and hours near you, please visit: http://bit.ly/1dOroWV. To prepare for the account opening, please be sure both parties bring a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.) and Social Security number.
Additionally, we understand you may have a busy scheduled and may not have time currently to visit us and would like to inform you that you have the option of establishing an individual account until both parties are available to visit us. You have the option of opening the account online at: http://bit.ly/PnWJZJ or you could even call us at 888-751-9000. Once your individual account has successfully opened, you can then visit any local TD Bank Store with the other party to add them onto your account.
We also understand changing banks can be challenging. We’ve developed this Easy Switch Checklist to help you navigate the process. Check out http://bit.ly/1nEm90e to see this easy-to-follow guide.
We hope this helps Maureen and please let us know if you have any other questions.
