If received a gift card as a gift....the sticker says it must be registered at this website before it can be used

When you receive a TD Bank Gift Card, it's first important to note that while we always like to recommend registering your card just in case it is misplaced or stolen, it is not required. Gift cards issued by TD Bank are activated at the time of purchase, and will only need to be registered when looking to make purchases online or over the phone.
