I am trying to set up Subaru Motor Finance c/o Chase as a payee in bill pay and it says that the information I provide is not recognized. Is that because it will be sent as a paper check and not electronic payment?

Thanks for stopping by today, Jeff, that's a great question.
Chase is a common company that we pay, and can typically be paid electronically if the company entered matches our results. We ask that you try typing in 'Chase,' then you may see an option for 'Subaru Motor Finance.'
If you are using our bill pay service, and trying to add a payee that is not pre-registered in our system, you will receive the exact message that you mentioned. In case you don't get any results for this payee after trying our suggestion above, please note that adding a payee that isn't already in our system is okay! You will just need to enter the address for the company in which they can receive your payment, which will most likely be made via paper check.
If you need assistance with bill pay, or adding a company to pay, you may reach out to our Tech Support team directly at 800-493-7562, and a Specialist would be more than happy to help. Our Specialists are available 24/7. If you'd prefer, you may also visit your local TD Bank Store for assistance. Please click here: https://go.td.com/2xqHXMr to view our Store locations and hours.
We hope this helps, Jeff, and that you have a nice day!
