We appreciate you coming to TD Helps with your question, Stephen.
When using our website to transfer funds, there are limits in place to protect you from potential fraud. You can view your transfer limits by selecting the "Make a Transfer" tab. Next to the amount field there is a circle with an "i" in the middle. By clicking on this "i" you will be able to select the account you wish to make the transfer from in the drop down box. Once done it will show you the limit for that account. This limit can change on a daily basis. There are alternative ways to move larger amounts between financial institutions, you may:
- Write a check
- Send a wire
- Send an online bill payment (which is a “pay anyone” service, and the recipient will receive a check in the mail)
You may reach out to a Digital Banking Specialist 24/7 at 800-493-7562 to discuss any external transfer questions. If you feel more comfortable visiting a TD Bank Store, you may do so. Please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores for the locations nearest you.
Thanks again for visiting us and have a great day.
