I had to close my card due to fraud and was recommended to request a chip card. I went into my nearest branch and I am now waiting for its delivery. I do not have a card until I receive my chip card in the mail. Would it be possible to request a temporary card until my chip card comes in? Thanks!

In reply to Renzo, Parsippany
We understand your concern, Renzo, and we'd be glad to discuss.
Please know that when you request a debit card to be mailed to your address, it may take up to 7-10 business days to arrive.
All TD Bank Stores have instant issue machines where any Customer Service Representative would be happy to make a new card for you during your visit. You will walk out with a new card in your hand! Once at the Store, please ask the Store Representative to close the card which is already mailed to you since it will no longer be useful once you receive a new card. To take a look at TD Stores near you please visit, http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
Keep in mind that debit cards issued on the spot will not include chip technology.
Please know that we do not offer temporary debit cards at this time. If you need a debit card immediately, please visit a TD Store during lobby hours.
If you have any additional questions, please feel free to reach out to our Banking Specialists 24/7 at 888-751-9000.
We hope this clears things up, Renzo. Have a good day.
