Thanks for joining us at TD Helps, Rosana. We apologize for any confusion and would be glad to help.
If you are not currently a TD Bank Customer and would like to cash a Money Order drawn on TD Bank, you are welcome to do so. Money orders can be cashed provided there is no stop payment on the money order and the money order is payable to an individual. We will ask you to provide valid identification at the time of the check cashing. Please note that there is a fee of $7.00 per check for this check cashing service. Please note; fees are subject to change. If you click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores, you can find the TD Bank Store and lobby hours nearest you.
Just in case the check you wish to cash is not drawn on TD Bank, you are not an existing TD Customer, we apologize as we will not be able to cash non-TD Bank money orders for non-Customers at this time. Please note, you may not cash a money order via TD ATM.
Please keep in mind; State regulations do not permit banks to cash a money order made payable to a business. The money order must be deposited into an account bearing that business name and title. Business Customers can withdraw funds immediately by writing a check payable to "Cash" against the deposited funds.
If you wish to open an account with us, the check-cashing fee mentioned above will be waived; and if the money order is not drawn on TD Bank, you'll then be able to negotiate it with us using your account. Once you have a TD Bank deposit account (such as Checking, Savings, Money Market account), checks not drawn on TD Bank can still be cashed at any TD Bank location with your valid photo ID as long as you have sufficient funds in your account to cover the amount of the check.
Here at TD Bank, we offer many different types of Checking and Savings accounts. You're welcome to review our Checking Accounts here: http://bit.ly/1oXjGgF, or use our Checking Account Selector at http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU. And our Savings products are listed here: http://bit.ly/1hzzhPT, or use our Savings Selector Tool at http://bit.ly/1sxY9Rd.
If you wish to open a new account, you may select the "Open Account" box located beneath each account listed. You may also feel free to call us directly 24/7 at 888-751-9000 with any questions you may have and set up your new account via telephone.
Additionally, you are welcome to stop by your nearest TD Bank store to speak with a Banking Specialist regarding new account options to determine what product type fits you the best.
We hope this was helpful information. If you need anything else, please let us know. Have a great day!
