Good afternoon and thanks for getting in touch with us here on TD Helps!
We truly appreciate your interest in banking with us.
To get started here at TD Bank, you would be more than welcome to open an account here. In order to transition from your current bank, you might like to use a bit of information we've compiled on this page: http://bit.ly/1S4k4i6. Our Easy Switch Checklist can help you determine the steps you'll need to take and how to get them done!
You might like to check out the different account types we offer, to see if one of our products suits your needs. You can compare our different Checking accounts here: http://bit.ly/1oXjGgF, and if you need any help deciding which one is the best for you, we invite you to use our helpful Checking Selector found here: http://bit.ly/KmmHe7.
If you're looking to start saving, you can review our available Savings and Money Market accounts right here: http://bit.ly/1hzzhPT. We also offer a similar Savings Selector to help identify the right product for you. If you'd like some guidance on our Savings accounts, you can find that here: http://bit.ly/1sxY9Rd.
If you're ready to open an account with us, you can open your account right online through the links above. If you'd prefer to speak with a Banking Specialist, you could also open the account over the phone; just reach out to us anytime at 888-751-9000. Banking Specialists are available 24/7 to help guide you through an account opening and answer any questions that you have along the way.
We want to let you know that you also have the option to stop by for assistance. Please take a look here if you can make it in to sit down with a Banking Specialist and open your new account in person: http://bit.ly/TDStores. Stop by during lobby hours and we can set you up with a new account and issue you an ATM/Debit card on the spot!
No matter how you'd like to open your new account(s), there are two forms of identification that we will need to process your information. We'll just need your Social Security Number and a form of photo identification such as a Driver's License, Passport, or State ID. If you're a non-U.S. citizen, please visit us at a Store to open your account and bring your non-US Passport and a second form of ID.
We hope this provides some help!
Thank you again for choosing TD and we hope to hear from you soon.
