We appreciate you reaching out to us on TD Helps, Victor.
We'd like to take this opportunity to let you know that when you're making a purchase with your TD Bank Debit Card and you select credit, usually the funds will remain pending for 3-5 business days. During this time, we're waiting for the merchant, to process the payment in which time it will post to your account. This process may take longer, as it depends on the merchant and they have 180 days to process the payment; however, in most cases it is unusual for an item to exceed five business days in pending status. For more detailed information on this, please view our Personal Deposit Account Agreement here: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ (page 7).
Please know, duplicate holds are not necessarily uncommon. Please be sure to monitor your account to ensure that the duplicate pending authorization will not post to your account. If both transactions happen to post on your account, to better assist you we recommend contacting one of our Banking Specialists 24/7 at 888-751-9000 so we may review this further with you. You may also visit any TD Bank for further assistance. For a listing of TD Bank Stores, please look here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope this helps and have an amazing day!
