First, we'd like to let you know that in order for a stop payment to be effective, we are in need of the exact dollar amount, as well as the correct payee name and correct check number if applicable. If your payee changed the amount they submitted for payment, this can affect the stop payment and we apologize for any inconvenience or confusion this may have caused.
