I am selling my vehicle that was financed through you and paid off several years ago. I can't find the title and don't know if I ever got it or if the lien was released.

As you do not have the title for your car, TD Bank will be happy to assist you in obtaining a Release of Lien for your vehicle.
To obtain this documentation, a fax is required. Please fax the following information to the Consumer Release Department at 207-755-4245:
• Your full name, address, and Social Security number •The account number, if it is available • The year, make, model and VIN, as well as the bank the loan was with and the date it was paid off, if available •Your request for a Release of Lien •Your signature
We also recommend including your best contact number and your return fax number so that we can assist you as efficiently as possible. Please keep in mind that the turnaround time for the request is typically 3-5 business days.

Please note that if your Auto Loan was financed via TD Auto Finance, please contact a TD Auto Finance Representative for instructions to obtain your Release of Lien. They are available Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 10:00 pm and Saturday 8:00 am to 7:00 pm at 1-800-556-8172 to help you.
