Thanks for dropping by TD Helps, Rachel. We'll be happy to provide the information that is needed to make this transfer.
If you and your friend both have TD Bank checking accounts, you may use the Person-to-Person feature. To use this transfer feature, you must first be enrolled in Online Banking. If you are not enrolled, follow http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You will need your TD Bank ATM/Visa Debit Card, your account number, and your e-mail address. If you do not have a debit or ATM card, please call one of our 24/7 Digital Specialists at 1-800-493-7562. After account verification, our dedicated Specialists would be happy to assist. Once you’ve successfully enrolled for Online Banking, you will then select the “Person-to-Person” Tab to enroll in this feature. For the Terms and Conditions in addition to information on the payment methods and amounts, please check http://bit.ly/1pADlWD. Here is our Personal Deposit Account Agreement http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ for you to view for more information. You may also look here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt to view our Fee Schedule.
If Person to Person transfers are not an option for you or if you have a TD Business checking account, we have other options you can make a deposit into another TD Bank account. One way you could make a deposit would be by visiting a TD Bank location with cash and the account number you would like to deposit into. Please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores to find the TD Bank location closest to you.
Another way to make a deposit would be to make a check payable to the individual and write “for deposit only” with the account number on the back of the check. Regardless of the option you choose, the deposit can be processed with a Teller in the Lobby or Drive-thru at any TD Bank location. When making the deposit directly into the other account, there is no charge to you.
If you do not currently bank with TD Bank, you may wish to check with your financial institution to determine if they offer the same type of service or any other options they may offer currently.
Hope this helps. Have a great weekend!
