I created a student account about a week ago. How much money do I have to deposit to fund my account and keep it open? What will I need to bring when I go into the bank to deposit the money? And how long do I have to do this?

Welcome to TD Helps, Kay. We'd be glad to discuss.
To learn more about our TD Student account and any requirements it may have, we recommend visiting here: https://go.td.com/2axLr3r.
Please know that there is no minimum deposit required to activate your account. It is recommended to make a deposit within 60 days to avoid your account closing due to lack of activity.
As it sounds as though this is your first deposit, we recommend visiting a TD Store. To take a look at Store locations and their hours please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR. Be sure to bring a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.) upon your visit.
We hope this helps, Kay. Thanks for choosing TD!
