Thanks for writing in today, Terry. It'll be our pleasure to answer your question!
While a Savings account cannot be converted to a Checking account, you are more than welcome to open up a Checking account in addition to your Savings account.
We invite you to view the different types of Checking accounts that we offer by selecting this link: http://bit.ly/Wczmq0. We also have a Checking Selector tool which will ask you to answer a few questions about your financial goals and choose a Checking account that may fit you best! You can locate that tool here: http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU.
Once you've selected the account you wish to open, you can select the orange button that says "Open Account" under the selected account, to open it Online. You may also give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or visit a nearby TD location to open the account. To find a location near you please check out: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope this helps, Terry, and have a great holiday.
