Good morning, Winsky. We're so glad you've chosen TD!
With any new account, we will sometimes hold check deposits for additional time to verify and obtain funds from the originating bank. Generally, this is only for the first thirty days. After that time period, most check deposits will have next day availability.
Even with older accounts, there are occasionally instances when we may need to hold a check for additional time to obtain verification from the other bank. We recommend reviewing our Personal Deposit Account Agreement for additional information about deposit availability. You find that starting on page 41 at https://go.td.com/1kb17UQ.
We'd be happy to take a look at your deposit and better advise as to when you might have access to the funds. As TD Helps is considered an unsecure forum, we ask that you give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or stop in to see us at any of our Stores. We look forward to hearing from you soon. Have a wonderful day, Winsky!
