It sounds to us like your check deposit may have been held for verification. It is not entirely uncommon for a check deposit to be held for one extra day to verify funds with the originating bank. When a check is deposited, we generally make the first $100.00 available immediately. If we have to hold a check for another day, we often make an additional $100.00 available while you're waiting. Generally speaking, if we are able to verify the check, the hold would be released by the end of the second business day.
There may be other possibilities for this hold as well. Since we do not have access to your account here at TD Helps, we recommend giving us a call at 888-751-9000 so that we can review your account and this hold.
