Thanks for reaching out to us on TD Helps, Rachel! We understand your concern and are glad to assist you.
If your deposit was made at TD Bank before 8:00 PM on a business day, it would be considered a deposit for that day. A business day is every day except Saturdays, Sundays, and federal holidays.
As you've mentioned that your deposit occurred on a Saturday, due to this, we will consider the deposit was made on the following business day. For weekend deposits, this typically means that the deposit will be considered Monday's deposit and will post to your account Tuesday. This may be the reason you've noticed that your deposit isn't available yet.
Exceptions can also occur which can cause delays in funds availability. For example, if you are a new account holder and your account has not been open for 30 consecutive days, check deposits can be held for up to 7 business days for verification purposes. We invite you to look at our Personal Deposit Account Agreement here: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ. On pages 38-40, you can find our Funds Availability Policy along with information about when you'll have access to deposits.
If you find that you have any questions about your deposit or the availability of your funds, please give us a call anytime! Our Banking Specialists are available 24/7 at 888-751-9000 and can answer any questions you may have.
We hope we've helped, Rachel and check in again anytime! Have a great one.
