Hi Beverly! We'd be happy to explain.
Normally when a check is deposited into one of our ATMs, an image will pop up and you'll be asked to confirm the dollar amount. If for any reason, the machine is unable to immediately read the dollar amount, you'll be asked to enter it in manually. If this has to be done, your receipt will read "forced entry".
This doesn’t mean anything different for your deposit. You should still have normal funds availability as you would with any other check deposit. Though uncommon, if we have any issue reading the check once the ATM is balanced, we may have to pull it for additional verification, in which case we should notify you.
We hope this helps clear up any confusion, Beverly! If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or stop in to see us at any of our Stores. To find one near you, please click here: https://go.td.com/1nq31dc.
Have a great weekend!
