Thanks for joining us here on TD Helps, Paul. We would be happy to help!
When you make a check deposit with a Teller, the first $100.00 is made available immediately. If you are a new account holder and your account has not been open for 30 consecutive days, Check Deposits can be held up to 7 business days for verification purposes. After this grace period, not only will the first $100.00 be made available at the time of deposit but the rest of the funds will be credited to your account on the following business day
Deposits made at a TD Bank ATM before 8:00 PM on a business day are considered deposits made on that business day. A business day is every day except Saturdays, Sundays, and federal holidays. If you make a deposit at an ATM before 8 PM on a business day that we are open, we will consider that to be the day of your deposit. However, if you make a deposit at an ATM after 8 PM, or on a non-business day , we will consider that deposit made on the next business day. Accounts that are less than 90 days old will generally see availability of funds the next business day. For example, if you make a deposit after 8 PM Friday, it will be considered as Monday's deposit, which is the next business day, and the remaining funds will normally be available the following business day.

If you have any further questions or concerns, we invite you to contact our Banking Specialists, available 24/7, at 1-888-751-9000. After account verification, our Specialists would be happy to review your account with you. As always, you may visit us at any TD Store. We hope this helps Paul. Have a great weekend and please let us know if you have any other questions.
