Sounds like you're concerned as to the date on the check and whether this can still be deposited. We'll be happy to review your options here.
First, some checks have an expiration date or guideline printed on them which limits or extends the time period when the checks can be cashed or deposited. We recommend checking for a time frame (90 days, 180 days, etc.) on the item itself to see if it is stale-dated or not.
We also recommend that you verify with the bank this check is drawn on to see if this item is still negotiable. If this is a TD Bank Official Check, you are welcome to give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000, or stop in at any of our Stores, to ensure that it can still be negotiated. Otherwise, you might like to check with a Store Representative prior to depositing the item to see if we can accept it for deposit. Kindly note that if your official check is made payable to the business name you mentioned, it must be deposited into an account bearing that business name and title.
