Hey, Gina! Thanks so much for stopping by TD Helps. We appreciate your interest in banking with us and are glad to provide you with some info.
If you don't have a U.S. Social Security number at this time, don't worry as you're still able to open an account with us! In order to do so, you'll just need to visit us at a TD Bank Store. For our hours and locations take a look here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Once you are ready to visit a Store, if you have a primary ID such as a State Driver's License, State ID or U.S. Passport you may provide that for the account opening process. Otherwise, you will need to bring two forms of identification with you. In that case, one form of ID must be a valid non-U.S. Passport with photo or non-U.S. Passport and Visa with photo and the second form of valid ID you may select from the list below:
- Employment ID with Photo and Signature
- State Issued ID or Driver's License with Signature
- Foreign Driver's License with Photo
- US Employment Authorization card with Photo, Signature and Expiration Date
- College ID with Photo
- Alien Registration Card with Photo
- Permanent Resident Card with Photo
We also do recommend that you contact your preferred TD Bank Store by phone prior to your visit to ensure that you have all the documentation required. The contact information for our Stores is listed at the first link provided above.
If you haven't already done so, we invite you to view our available account options and find one you like best! To view and compare our Checking accounts, visit http://bit.ly/1aDaRqd or check out our Checking Selector http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU for help selecting an account that is the best fit for you. To view and compare Savings account products, click on http://bit.ly/1pJT9I9, or if you prefer, we also have a Savings Selector http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM which can help you choose the best savings account for your needs.
For any questions you may have or to make an appointment at your local Store, call us at 888-751-9000, 24/7.
We hope this is helpful, Gina! Feel free to reply on TD Helps with any questions you may have, and take care.
