We appreciate your question on TD Helps today, Uyen and we'd be more than happy to help you with explaining paper statements. This is a fee for receiving Paper Statements every month, but there is also a way to avoid it. To avoid this fee, you would simply need to enroll for paperless statements! It will make your paper load a lot less and it would contribute to helping the environment as well. To enroll for paperless statements, you must be enrolled in Online Banking. If you have an ATM/Debit Card and Social Security number you may fill out the online application to access your personal account(s). Please visit http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY to enroll for TD Bank Online Banking. Once there, you will need to choose Personal from the drop down box. Signing up for TD Bank Online is quick and easy – allowing you to view your accounts in just three simple steps! First, you'll have to accept the Online Banking Agreement. Then, we'll ask you to enter in your personal information (Name, Social Security number, account number, etc.) and finally, you will have to set up three security questions. After those 3 steps are completed, you will have immediate access to your account(s) online. Once you’ve successfully logged in, please follow the steps below: - Please click on the “Customer Service” tab - Select the “Online Statement Settings” link which is located under the self-service portion (it will be the sixth link down) or in the "Help & Related Tasks" box (which is located on the left side of the page). - Please select the account(s) you would like to enroll for Online Statements. Make sure the email address on file is correct. - You will then be required to read the “Online (Paperless) Statement Customer Agreement” and the “Hardware and Software Requirements”. Once you have opened and reviewed the two documents needed, please check mark the boxes and select “Save Changes”. If you are having difficulties setting this up, you can call our Digital Banking Specialists at 800-493-7562. After account verification, our Digital Banking Specialists, who are available 24/7, would be happy to walk you through this. We hope this information helps, Uyen and enjoy the rest of your week!
