Great to hear that you'd like to start an account with us, Maria! We're more than happy to guide you.
If you'd like, the option to open an account is available online. To begin the application, you'll need your Social Security number and a valid personal identification such as a Driver's license, State ID, or Passport. If the ID card that you have is State-issued, you're more than welcome to use it for the application process.
To find an account that you like, if you haven't already done so we encourage you to review our Checking Accounts here: http://bit.ly/1oXjGgF, or use our Checking Account Selector at http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU. And our Savings products are listed here: http://bit.ly/1hzzhPT, or use our Savings Selector Tool at http://bit.ly/1sxY9Rd.
To open it online, you may use the Open Account button at these links to begin your account application. If you open your account online, you can make your first deposit using a debit or credit card (Visa or MasterCard), or using the routing and account numbers from another bank account you may have. You'll also be able to make your initial deposit at a Store.
If you'd prefer, the option to open your account by phone is also available. Feel free to give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000 to speak with one of our dedicated Customer Service Representatives. They will be more than happy to help you establish your account. If you open the account by phone, your representative will be happy to provide convenient deposit options.
You're also welcome to open your new account in person. Please see http://bit.ly/TDStores to search for the convenient TD Bank Store locations near you. For any questions regarding the Identification you have, feel free to give us a call at the number listed above for assistance.
Hope this helps, Maria and we hope we'll be doing business together soon! Have a great afternoon.
