Hi Vernell, thanks for joining us here at TD Helps. We'll be glad to assist you with ways to change your password.
If the password you are referring to is for your TD Bank Online Banking, if you know your user name, you can reset your password using the Self-Service feature via the TD Bank website by following this link: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. Once there, please select the "Trouble Logging In" link located beneath the password field. You will now be at the "Reset Your Password" page; select the account type and input your user name along with the last four digits of your Social Security number. You will then be asked to answer two of your security questions. After successfully answering these questions you will then be able to create your new password.
When thinking of a new password, please keep these tips in mind:
- Use a combination of numbers, letters and special characters, but no spaces
- Your password should be unique. Memorize it and do not disclose it to anyone else
- Avoid using names, dates or numbers tied to your identity (such as birthday, family name, pets, street, etc.)
- Use a password that differs from your other banking, email and social media accounts. Change it periodically, ideally every 90 days
If you are unable to reset your password using the self-service tool, please give our Specialists a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000 and after account verification we'll be glad to reset it for you! If this is a TD Bank BusinessDirect account, you can call us directly at 800-493-7562, Option 2. Our Small Banking Specialists are also available 24/7, for your convenience. You may also stop by your local TD Bank Store during lobby hours for further assistance. For TD Bank Store locations, check out: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
If you're referring to logging into www.tdcardservices.com, you may contact a TD Credit Card Specialist 24/7 at 888-561-8861.
If you are referring to your TD Go Card account, please us 24/7 at 855-219-8050.
If you're attempting to change the verification password on your account (password placed on your account for verification purposes when contacting us over the phone), you may request to change it by visiting your local TD Bank.
This should help you access your account again in no time! If you have any other questions don’t hesitate to submit another question to us. Enjoy your weekend!
