Thanks for writing in on TD Helps today WonJi. While we hate to see any of our Customers go, we understand that sometimes it's necessary to close an account. To do so, now that you're out of the country we ask that you give us a call 24/7 from outside the US by dialing 1-856-751-9000 or by calling collect, with operator assistance, by asking the operator to dial 1-215-569-0518. This call will have to be completed from a land line telephone. As long as the account is at a zero balance and after account verification, a Representative will be able to close the account. You may also send a notarized letter to your Home Store, which is the location where you opened your account, to request for it to be closed. In the letter please include: your account number, mailing address (if there's a balance on the account, this is where the check will be sent) as well as your signature. For a listing of Store locations please take a look here: http://bit.ly/TDStores. We hope this information helps and have a wonderful day.
