I set up direct deposit on Tuesday for my new TD bank account, however, I gave my employer the wrong routing number. Will the check bounce back to my employer?

Thanks for contacting TD Helps today, Robert. We'll be happy to point you in the right direction.
When sending a direct deposit, typically if some of the information does not match the information that is listed on your account, it will be returned to the originating bank. We apologize for any inconvenience. We suggest that you get in touch with your depositor directly as soon as possible to determine if this error may be fixed.
If you have any questions regarding this for your account, you can reach us anytime, 24/7 at 888-751-9000, or you can stop in to any of our Stores. Even though it is Columbus Day, we are open for our standard hours today and would be glad to see you.
We hope this helped, Robert. Enjoy the rest of your day, and have a great weekend.
