I took a car loan in 2004 and paid it off sometime in 2009. I need a Release of Lean letter. I cannot locate my copy of the release.

Thanks for coming to TD Helps with your inquiry, Lisa!
While TD Bank no longer offers auto loans, we gladly service our existing loans.
To receive a release of lien for an auto loan that may have been with TD Bank, you can send your fax to 207-755-6550. Please note, if you are faxing over a request for your vehicle, you will need to include the following information:
-Your previous address
-Your current address
-Your fax number
-Your phone number
If you are looking for a release of lien for a vehicle that is not with TD Bank, but rather with TD Auto Finance, the instructions may differ. We recommend contacting TD Auto Finance to determine what may or may not need to be required for a lien release. A TD Auto Finance Specialist may be reached at 800-556-8172, Monday through Friday 8AM to 10PM ET, and Saturday 8AM to 7PM ET.
If you have any questions at all, feel free to reach out to our Financial Solutions Group at 1-800-937-5020. Specialists are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and will be more than happy to help.
We hope you're having a great day, Lisa!
