All checks, regardless of where they are from are treated equally. In general, TD Bank will provide you with the first $100 of your check deposit made with a teller available immediately. The rest of the funds are usually credited to your account on the following business day. If you are a new account holder and your account has not been open for 30 consecutive days, check deposits can be held for up to 7 business days for verification purposes.
