The check was deposited before it was supposed to be and I got an overdraft fee. The person does not have the funds in their account and it has been almost a week. Please help.

Thanks for joining us today, Natasha. We understand your concern and we'd be glad to discuss.
From your question it sounds as though you issued a check to another party and they deposited it to their account prior to the date you wrote it for.
Please kindly keep in mind that it is the Customer’s responsibility not to write post-dated checks. The only time the Bank is not allowed to pay a post-dated item is when the Customer has advised the Bank that they have issued a post-dated check and instructed the Bank not to pay it before the date of the check. In such cases, the Bank should request the Customer to place a stop payment on the check.
If you have any questions or concerns about your account specifically in regards to this check, we recommend reaching out to us directly for assistance. You are able to call us 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000 or visit any TD Store. To take a look at TD Stores and their hours please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
In regards to the individual you've provided a check to, we recommend that they reach out to their financial institution for assistance in locating the deposit made. If the other party banks with TD, we recommend they visit a TD Store or call us using the number above.
We hope this helps, Natasha and have a good day.
