Thanks for getting in touch with us, Theodore.
In order to help you with your tax documentation, we would need to assist you directly. We apologize that we're unable to update your address here, as TD Helps is considered an unsecured forum.
Regarding your previous loan account, kindly take note that the 1098 Tax Form is automatically generated and mailed by the end of January for all accounts that paid a minimum of $600.00 in interest for the calendar year. If your account paid at least this much, instructions to update your address as below can be used if your loan account was recently closed. Kindly take note that if your loan was closed some time ago, it would be necessary to reach out to your previous Home Store for assistance.
For your loan or line of credit, you'll be able to send your updated address information to us by mail or fax. Using either method, please include:
-Your account number
-Your new address
This information can be mailed to our Consumer Research Department at:
32 Chestnut Street
Lewiston, ME 04240
Or, it can be faxed to 207-755-4403, Attention: Consumer Research.
If you have any questions regarding your previous loan or line of credit, or to ensure that this information was received, you're welcome to connect with our Financial Solutions Group Specialists directly at 800-937-5020, 24/7.
With respect to your checking account, please first keep in mind that the 1099-INT Tax Forms are generated for customers who earned more than $10.00 in interest for the previous year on their deposit accounts. If you still have any records from your previous checking account, we recommend reviewing the final statement to determine if this amount was earned. If not, no form will be needed.
If your account does require a 1099 Form, you'll want to get in touch with your previous Home Store to determine what options may be available. A listing of our Stores with their addresses can be found at http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope these options will help, Theodore. Thanks again for reaching out and all the best to you in your new location!
